Community guidelines

YouthHub ET includes students under 18. These guidelines keep everyone safe, respected and focused on learning.

Be respectful

  • Treat every member with respect regardless of school, background, gender, religion, ethnicity or ability.
  • No harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats or sexual content of any kind.
  • Disagree with ideas, not people.

Protect privacy

  • Do not share anyone's phone number, address, photos or other personal details without their permission.
  • Keep conversations in club spaces. Adults must not move conversations with under-18 members to private channels.
  • Never ask for or share passwords, PINs or banking details.

Keep it honest

  • Submit only genuine payment evidence. Falsified payment screenshots lead to suspension.
  • Do your own work in competitions and give credit to teammates.
  • No spam, scams or unapproved advertising.

What leads to suspension

These apply to everyone: members, ambassadors and staff. A membership can be suspended or removed for:

  • Harassment, bullying, threats or hate speech, online or at events.
  • Sharing other people's personal information, photos or contact details without permission.
  • Inappropriate contact with, or content involving, anyone under 18.
  • Submitting edited, borrowed or fake payment screenshots.
  • Cheating, or copying others' work, in competitions and projects.
  • Impersonating someone, or misusing the club's name or logo.
  • Repeated spam or disruption, or ignoring organisers' safety instructions at events.
  • For ambassadors: reporting activities that didn't happen, or misrepresenting the club.

The reason for a suspension is shown on the member's dashboard. A suspended member keeps read-only access to their account but can't take part in member activities. Members can ask the club to review the decision.

Reporting and moderation

If something makes you uncomfortable, report it to a club administrator at contactyouthubet@gmail.com. Administrators may remove content, suspend memberships or involve parents, guardians or schools where a student's safety is at risk. Moderation actions are recorded in an audit log.
